What will be taught?
In this class, we will learn about American history from a Christian worldview, starting with the Native Americans and going through the present. It is important to learn about the people who made history and this class gives students the opportunity to experience living history through stories along with the overview of the historical events. In order to really understand what life was like years ago, history must go beyond words on a page. Historical art must be examined, songs must be sung, and crafts must be done. Each day there is an activity that brings history to life. There are also questions and writing topics that the parent will correct (The answers are in the back of the book). Scattered throughout the book, are maps and geography questions to help familiarize students with the places mentioned in the text.

Who is the teacher?
Amy Puetz Fox, a homeschool graduate and servant of Jesus Christ, loves history. She is the author of Heroes, Heroines, and Tales of Ancient History and Heroes and Heroines of the Past: American History. In these history books, history comes to life by using all five senses. Amy lives in Wyoming with her loving husband, Carl, and their precious Zachariah.
